Hey all.
Just trying to decide what to do with my vacation time coming up, so I thought I would appeal to the experts out there. Lets say you have a month off in July....
Where would you go?
Or even, where will you go on your vacation?
Cheers

K, lets say for the sake of my sanity, I wanna leave Korea...
Any takers then?
Also, curiously, who else here DOES take their vacations IN korea? Never really considered it myself. |

I'm going to Ho Chi Man City for 600,000 won return in september. I have been told a lot of "laws" are laxed there so I am going to stay in the city for a night then head to hte beach (one hour away) Also right now I know that there is some specials on going to Japan (300,000 two night and three days everything included)
Lots of places to go just when to find the time? |

| I really hope to take the Lemon's advice and head to Malaysia for about a week in August. Haven't spent more than a month total out of Korea during the past 8 years. Time for a small Korea break. |

I'm off to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in June/July.
I may not do all of it. But I want to see the cities. I would rather sit back for a week in a great city- Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Hanoi or HCMC, than go see the tourist hot spots- the islands of Thailand, the Cu Chi tunnels, etc.
I'll definitely go to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, and try to spend time in the Mekong Delta, but otherwise, I'm on vacation, and that means cafes, pubs, shopping, and kicking back (at least a couple of massages in bangkok).
The biggest problem with the tours and the tourists is the killer schedules- 6 A.M. busses are definitely not my style! |

I'd recommend that also. Teman Negara National Park and the Perhentians were great. I'd like to get back there to see the Cameron Highlands sometime. I'd also really like to spend a month wandering around in Borneo, both in the Malaysian and Indonesian parts. |

Hmm.. I have 1 month off in July from school. Im in Spain. My vacation will consist of Miami, London, Paris, and Dublin (focusing on the Miami and Dublin part). I may possibly try Prague as well.
IF I were in Korea.. and I had one month. I think this time around I would fly directly to Bangkok.. hangout or whatever.. and maybe try to pull off 2-3 weeks in Myanmar.. (curious about that place).
DAMN I miss southeast Asia though!! Wish I were there right now.. I cant stop but thinking that if I could be anywhere in the world right now.. where would I be?.. and it would be southeast asia.. |
