Oh, gay rights? Yes. This is all about gay rights. Barry the Dronebomber honest to god gives a damn about the rights of foreigners.

So all criticism of Russia's anti-gay laws are illegitimate because the US President is critical of them as well?

You were clearly alluding to a Hollywood conspiracy regarding the growing acceptance of gay rights in the United States.

Limp western liberals can not even find it in their guts to be openly critical of the Arab/muslim anti-gay/women/etc attitudes and behavior in their own nations.

There are some on the left in academia who believe Islam in untouchable for various reasons.

Joe Biden agrees with me.

Quote:
Jewish leaders in the media are in large part responsible for American acceptance of gay marriage, Vice President Biden said Tuesday night.

“I believe what affects the movements in America, what affects our attitudes in America are as much the culture and the arts as anything else,” he said at a Democratic National Committee reception for Jewish American Heritage Month. He cited social media and the sitcom “Will and Grace,” giving Jews a large part of the credit for both.

“I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry,” he said. “The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good. ”

That's what the Vice President of the United States said.

He doesn't. But I do. I sometimes do controversial things like quote the Vice President of the United States.

Biden was attempting to pay a complement to the Jewish community during a speech. It was not a scientifically accurate statement. However, I do understand that it has played right into the hands of the far right.

So it's not precisely 85%. Is it 80%, 76% ? Perhaps it's 93%.

I'm sure he pulled the stat out of his butt. Not the result of empirical research.

Let us now research it. How shall we move forward?

Titus will answer that if he wishes, but it's a red herring. Vice President Biden said that Jewish leaders are in large part responsible for American acceptance of gay marriage. That (and supporting statements he made) is the thing to examine. But again, perhaps Biden is not scientifically accurate, but do you believe he is basically wrong?

Remember the Russian faux lesbian girl group Tatu?
They would be banned from performing in today's Russia. What a shame.
