I've been offered a 6 month public school contract.
The school is near my home (I have my own housing).
What's the deal with a 6 month contract?
They only have funding for 6 months?
Will immigration hassle me.???..I thought all contract were suppose to be for a year.
Thanks in advance. |

A six month E2 is doable. As you said year E2s are more common. The school is likely offering a six month contract either due to funding as you said or they just want somebody to finish the school year. Likely in Feb/Mar the school will then hire a full year teacher or renew you.
