| The OP, and others, have commented on how pleasant the weather is. It's been max 28. You say they're saying they are unbearably hot in this weather. That is not what they said. Again, they said it was NICE. |
Okay, but it was you who posted this-

Your statements weren't based on Max 28 temperatures. You were talking about 35 and 40. |

Well, as a guy who loves cooler or cold weather (grew up in southern USA, but spent all of my adult life in northern USA), I take it seriously when my wife begins closing windows when it is 23c outside,
I find the comments of Korean people no more alarming than I did back in the States when I was living in the south where the temperatures were rather moderate versus other parts of the country. After living in the north for so many years I would come home for vacation and the same or similar comments would be made by the people I grew up with.
BTW, I am not Dodge7 either,
Just had to get that in since many people want to keep bringing up the subject in every thread these other posters are commenting in. Now back to the regular comments. |

Me again, pet? As much time as you've spent posting fiction on here the last month with your fake girlfriend who doesn't mind you spending all day and night posting on ESL forums, you should have at least gotten a hold of some the handles, son.
Obviously a troll, most people recognize it, and I shouldn't even be responding... but, again, goshiwon boy... do you care to recount how you went from working at a hagwon, to living in a goshiwon, and then making the big bucks in some non-descriptive profession you refuse to give any details about? What's the dodge method going to be this time? |

| These are very basic questions you shouldn't have any difficulty answering, goshiwon boy. So, why can't you give a straight answer? |

| It's September, it's time to be cold. It doesn't matter what the actual weather is like, one must be hot or cold based on the date. The hot season has passed. It is time to be cold. |

To be fair Cash, you do seem to have a knack for avoiding answering pretty basic questions... and it may be down tot the fact that you're not very good at communicating socially (in written form, at least). As I previously mentioned, if the gf and the job etc are all true... why do you want us to know this? The only thing I can think of is either you enjoy masturbating your own ego... or you actually have self esteem issues that require public self validation. But please do enlighten us if there is another reason for this.
I also said before, that you have often made very valid points... and no-one here should judge, but I'd assume from your success that you are a very smart/hardworking individual to be in the position you are. Maybe instead of 'bragging' on an ESL board, you could use some of your experience and knowledge to help others in bettering their situations in Korea. Just a though, not trying to being condescending here. |

LOL.
She's probably out with 'awesome boyfriend #4' right now, so he's plenty of time on his hands. |

Greetings fellow Cafe'ers.
Ipayincash, I am currently pursuing a non-teaching career in Korea and I'd be very interested in knowing the field you are working in. You dont need to name any companies or anything (for preserving your identity if youd like) but just the industry. How'd you get the job? Were there some hurdles? My goal is to move into the venture capital investing sector of the country... I'd view that as the dream job if I had to choose one.
Thanks |

As a Canadian, I find that I play down the cold. A cool breeze is "refreshing" instead of cool/cold. Even when it does get colder here, it's never as cold as Canada... so it doesn't seem all that bad to me.
I think it's sort of the same with how Koreans look at their spicy food. You can see them sweating, faces turning red, yet they'll often exclaim that it's not so hot. |
Well, it really isn't. My wife used cayenne pepper to make kimchi in Canada this summer. It was damn spicy. Korean chili peppers aren't all that spicy, as chili peppers typically are. |

Your statements weren't based on Max 28 temperatures. You were talking about 35 and 40. |
I realize what I say will never make a difference to you because you will twist it and misquote me and take things out of context.
My first quote was in response to you saying foreigners who find summer weather hot are fat and unhealthy. Most of the summer was above 30. It's now below 30 (28 at the time) and no one was complaining. Therefore, you think foreigners who think 35-ish is hot are fat and unhealthy.
The second quote is a sarcastic comment because you will defend...no defend is not the correct word because that would imply someone was attacking....you will always hold Korea and Koreans up on a pedestal while insulting others, and then blame those others of being biased and offensive. For example, in reference to #1 here, a foreigner who finds any weather hot is fat and unhealthy. A Korean who finds any weather cold is correct. That is what you said, although you left out the context of my responses. As is your way.
You can always tell when SR is being dishonest in his quotes, besides the fact that he's typing which should clue anyone in who has ever read any of his posts here. Second, like my second quote above, it's obviously a fragment of a much longer sentence. Not even the first part, or the last part. Look at the grammar. It's a few random words in the middle of a much larger point. Reading one of SR's responses is like watching what Rock Bottom did to Homer Simpson.
