Black Cat, its hard to twist your posts because a lot of them start out as (entertaining and with their points) rants that start out at one place and crescendo into something else. You twist them yourself. You get worked up when writing them and what starts as a few sentences talking about temperatures in the 20s ends up with exclamatory statements about Koreans and 40 degree temperatures.
As opposed to me who rambles incoherently for far too long.
The fact is that it has been unusually cool this September, combined with steady winds. It also chilled rather rapidly compared to other years past.
And yes, some people find 68 pleasant, some find it a tolerable room temperature and some find it uncomfortably cold. Same with 80 degrees, only uncomfortably hot. That's a difference of 12 degrees Fahrenheit and whatever smaller number of degrees Celsius. Certainly within the range of weather we've experienced.
And certainly understandable for a girl expecting weather to be like a week before and stepping out in a short skirt or shorts and a thin shirt and running into unusually cold temperatures. Unless I am mistaken and you regularly frolic around in Daisy Dukes. |

C'mon SR .. Koreans have a weird relationship to temperature.. This topic comes up every year.. Once my folks visited and on arriving at their hotel they were shocked to find the room temperature insanely hot... Koreans heat their apartments like most countries do only for frail elderly people- that's not healthy nor economical.. Massive waste of energy and money..
And when complaining of cold when the temperature is in the 20's makes little sense- they know what real cold is cos the temperature hits lows of -15 easily in the winter.. 25 degrees in Korean climate terms is warm- that is an objective fact. You could forgive them if they came from some African or Middle East countries where they really never feel the cold...
As other have said- it's suddenly Autumn cos the calendar says it is.. Not cos its actually cold- and this nonsense would be tolerable if they didn't try to force their dopey beliefs on others- they adjummas are already tut-tutting cos my son is running around happily in shorts and T-shirts - and sweating.. But no .. They are insisting he should be in warm clothes now.. It's 25+ degrees FGS!i actually don't think they feel its cold.. They just believe it must be because of the date and because there is a spectacular lack of common sense in this country.. |

| I don't know where you guys live/work, but I'm still finding a surprising amount of air conditioners on when I think an open window and a fan would suffice, and I don't find it unusual to see the air conditioner set on the lowest setting regardless of the outside temp. |

| Ya'll don't honestly think that every single Korean in Korea is feeling cold at this moment, do you? |

Maybe they don't have layers of fat insulating themselves. Or the same reason tehy are able to walk around in 28 degree weather without being drenched in sweat and moaning about the heat.
Why is your standard the normal one and theirs the weird one? |
The Koreans that I know and observe have a difficult time with the heat. even the TV anchors have ditched their ties.
That they don't sweat makes it more difficult for their bodies to stay cool. |

You could have posted that 100 times and the dude would still never give you an actual answer since he's FOS and trolling. |

LOL.
She's probably out with 'awesome boyfriend #4' right now, so he's plenty of time on his hands. |
She's on my bed right now. |
And yet you're not there beside her, preferring to write nonsense on a web forum.
Guess she needs her rest, having four fellas and all that. |

Now I've heard everything.
Koreans don't sweat...seriously?
Koreans are human
Humans have sweat glands.
Now some humans do have fewer sweat glands...but that does not equate to lack of sweating merely less production of sweat. |

Always with the literalness. Anyone who can put two and two together would understand the context of my statement. Figure it out and then go pick someone else's nits.
BTW, less production can and will eventually lead to a lack of whatever is being produced in lesser quantities. |
