I played this for my clients at work today. It was a gamble, but they loved it. I will be showing it to future clients here at the company headquarters in the future.

Wow. Some of you are suggesting wildly inappropriate songs for elementary school kids. Guns and Roses, really? The Beatles are always safe. Remember to keep the song family-friendly and inoffensive to the parents. They, after all, are your audience. You might also want to consider ABBA and the Carpenters.

My 5th grade Elementary girls liked this song - catchy!

They were singing it for days afterwards!

I guess you're refering to my post. There's nothing inappropriate about that song, read the lyrics. It's a love song.

ABBA and the Carpenters? F-ing yuck! That's much more offensive IMO Very Happy

How about something like this?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2070754/School-punk-rock-Kindergarten-students-perform-Ramones-classic.html

Pick something uptempo and short. Kids will love it and they won't have too much to memorize.

(If you want to go with punk, well...there aren't many songs by The Ramones that I can think of that you can do with kids, though. The lyrics are sometimes autobiographical, and Dee Dee Ramone had a pretty rough life. Maybe you could do their version of The Spiderman Theme Song, or maybe one of our resident punk experts could make another appropriate suggestion).

Gee, that's really cool. Great find.

The OP wouldn't need to order the CD. He/She could just pick a song from the list.

(This website needs more emoticons. I'd give you one with two thumbs up.)
