I have no doubt. They are usually very shrewd.
The feckless way many westerners behave makes me cringe by comparison.
But if they are on average more intelligent, it has not of a sort that translates to life as a whole.
Historically it has not manifested in the kind of common sense, efficiency, ingenuity or bravery that has counted when it comes to making a difference in the world. |

Uhhh did you read the rationale for that statement?
To state again, England has been successfully invaded and seen its monarch overthrown- Henry VII against Richard III. The claimant-in-exile landed a force that had sailed from France, gathered supporters, and Richard III was killed in battle by Henry's forces. That's a conquest. A conquest by the English. Much like one side or another conquers the other in a civil war, only this one featured an army landed on the beaches based out of another country. |
