I helped contribute to R-, a different friend to buy her air conditioner. She lives in a very hot state. This is not Angie. Totally separate friend, totally separate situations, totally separate ways I know her, and the two don't even know each other. Oh, and I had committed to buy R- the air conditioner before Angie's situation. Just like i had taken my vacation before I had any idea of Angie's situation. No one can see the future and they were in a stable place (for 3 years) before this. That was lost (and GREAT TIMING BTW, because her old place was in the flood!) We now consider this emergency to have been a good thing because she got out before her apartment was evacuated, although we do not know if it was flooded or not.

Angie does not own an Ipad. Angie does not live in Canada and has never been there.
Angie just had to buy a cheap phone so she could move and communicate with people and possibly government services/ kid school reasons. It is not a smartphone nor was it expensive and the plan she is on is a month to month thing. You're adding new information without knowing the full story.
Also, Wendy's is cheap, only a few bucks. Angie is being as economical with the money as humanly possible for her and her kid to survive. She obviously couldn't cook food in a hotel room, and couldn't buy groceries with no car and couldn't take the groceries on the plane if she had to buy a full thing of bread/peanut butter/jelly or whatever, what the hell else was she supposed to do? I think wendy's was a good option for her, being less than the cost of groceries. Also many restaurants have wifi. She can just walk by and get wifi and update herself and post back.

Gofundme donation website mentioned is actually quite a reputable way to send money if you'd look into it just the tiniest bit. It's actually one of the most popular ways, right behind Kickstarter. However, now a new one has been found that takes 0 fees, and people are starting to use it more too. I just found out about it myself. But the previous one is all we knew about prior and it's rather safe, and quite a huge thing.
And no, she hasn't updated the gofundme thing at all. It's tied to facebook and she changed her pic. Therefore it changed the site pic too.

Angie was staying in a hotel thanks to her mother being able to pay for 2 nights, something her mother could barely do and ONLY because she didn't want grandchild on the street. I will not go into reasons why she was in a hotel, but it was necessary. I'd have to give you a full, intimate update of Angie's life in order to explain and I've been pretty much told not to tell any more. It was hotel, or literally out on the street with her kid.
Angie's plane tickets were paid by someone else whom OWED her them. They were not paid by Angie nor by any donations.

NYC_gal - No problem. I understand. I am not allowed to disclose her disabilities so I understand your discomfort.

Tara is a woman. She has the right to an opinion on the subject of whatever anatomy she currently owns. Men, however, do not get an opinion on women's anatomy rights. Sorry. Women don't get an opinion over men's anatomy rights either. Trans men, having a uterus, also do get the rights to the anatomy they own. Women with hystorectomies HAD uteruses, therefore they also qualify to have an opinion.
Now, about the "hands off my body" thing....Until you are breathing and functioning separate from the mother, you are not a person until then - you are a parasite which could, in time, become a baby when it is able to function (with or without help) separate from the mother. I know that sounds rather cold to say, but I do tend to think from a scientific pov when it comes to this topic. Lambaste me all you want on that.

Nester - You could donate her .50 or whatever the site allows and she'd still be grateful to you. She has never not been grateful for even the smallest donation.

And yep, I'm still here. I don't post every day. I prefer to visit the site once a week or sometimes two. So you just gotta wait for my posts.
And yes, I don't exactly know all of you that well. Now I can say I do, and I'm rather glad to know how non-understanding people can be here when they have never really known true poverty and disability. If you have, let me know. And how exactly you were able to rise out of it. Especially include how you managed to get your degree with a mental disabled child and an apartment to pay rent and disabilities preventing you from holding a job.

To the person who posted the websites for online work - Angie has looked at them at least. She still only has phone internet but she thanks you for the links and wants to learn more soon.

Now, for an update. Angie, at the present time, is out of extreme danger of being on the street, and they have a decent plan for getting back on their feet! This is in large part to donations that have been sent, including my own. The danger has passed and it might be just a few weeks before they are self-sufficient again after this disaster of theirs hit (the problem of not-hers that caused her to be homeless unexpectedly). So, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief and stop worrying so much.

This thread is starting to get rather confusing, not necessarily for me but by people bringing in new information that has happened over this past week or so, which of course would make it look like she doesn't need the money and is wasting it, but the whole story is not being said and I can't exactly give more information to clarify. Also people are confusing another person (or two...where the hell did the Canada info come from? I know 0 people in Canada!) with her. That doesn't help.
It looks like the crisis is over and Angie is out of danger, so now there is very little point for this thread to keep going, but if you wanna keep lambasting me for stuff, then go....right...on....ahead.

This post still doesn't explain how she posted from a cab.

A baby forming inside the womb is now a parasite now. lol @ the trolling

The crisis is over? BS. I'll give it a week before we see another "e-begging" post from Angie the freeloader again.

Oh come on. I like to make the parasite comment as a joke with friends, because I don't want kids, but at a certain point it's a baby, breathing on its own or not. I was a premie. Plenty of babies are able to function if born early. They may technically be inside their mothers, but if removed they'd be able to survive in an incubator, as I did.

Besides, someone's stance on abortion is a discussion that people should have before sleeping together.

So wait, I'm confused. Was the last link to the wrong person or something, cause they clearly were living in Ontario, Canada and had an iPad?

Which makes one wonder why R- posted on Angie's blog/account...

It also makes one wonder why you have so many needy friends. Well Miss Cacille it is your money, but if I were you I'd make some new friends for the simple reason that true friendship is generally based on equality (both giving and taking). One person can't be doing all the giving and that holds true for any meaningful relationship.
