Can anyone confirm this? All asians, from China to Phillipines, that I've ever met, detest the stuff. They say it stinks. Personally I love it.

Yes, I can Laughing

I have been in China for 3 years now. It is true, some Chinese say lamb meat smells. This is probably due to a dish called "Hot Pot" where you boil meat in a pot of hot broth. So, compared to beef and fish, it doesn't smell good.

If you cook the meat differently, either by BBQ grill or in sauce like a stew, then you won't smell it as much. It is cheaper than beef, and you can get them in strips like bacon. It's easier to cook. You can even microwave it.

Some also say the same thing about duck meat. They don't like the smell.

You don't like the labeling or the idea that something new regarding medical benefits is being proposed?

but saying an entire nation of people love stabbing in each other in the back? What are you basing this on exactly? We might not, generally speaking, be as forthright as Americans but there's no underlying duplicity behind it

Brits tend to have no qualms about talking about people behind their back. Unless you specifically tell someone not to repeat something, basically its a dead cert that everyone will know about it the moment you leave the table to take a slash.

I agree that the above- like taking the p*ss- is usually fairly harmless, but there's a very fine line to tread. All you need is to add alcahol, or try it on a non-British person... and you've got a fight on your hands.

The UK music scene is much better than the American.

The US is more segregated and racist than the UK.

Holy mother of God! What have we here? An American calling British bacon "crappy!" The bacon you eat isn't actually bacon, just strips of fat cremated in the frying pan for crying out loud Smile
