If it's the Sterling Education academy located in Mokdong, it seemed to be a decent place to work. The owners were really nice and the classrooms were modern and had a lot of new equipment built in like computers, projectors and software to use in class. I'm not sure about the housing, but mokdong is an expensive area so my guess would be decent but on the small side.

I interviewed there when the franchise was first opening up in 2009. At the time it was owned by TV/film star Ricky Kim. He's a gyopo from the USA. I was interested in the position, but for me the pay was not what I was looking for. Although, the pay was pretty good at the time for an E2 teacher.

I'm supposed to interview with Sterling, and I'm in the same boat. There doesn't seem to be much about this school online. Maybe that's a good sign? Did anyone find anything?

I had a friend that worked for the one in Songdo. He seemed to enjoy working there, but was then let go about 4 months or so in. Since the school us relatively new they needed to impress parents and whatnot so when students started dropping, he was sent packing.
