What about copper? Probably tough to find in Korea.

Most pipes in Korea (in the house) are plastic, so there's less copper here.

The price of cardboard has fallen quite a bit in the last week or so. I blame the whole American default thing. Hopefully it will increase again in the next few days, since an agreement has been sorted out.

I've got a room full of cardboard - I need to cash it in!

Soju bottles and brown (glass) beer bottles are worth quite a bit too. Heavy though!

My school got worried when someone reported me coming out of my house with 100s of soju bottles - they thought I was an alcoholic! How we laughed when they found out the truth!

"Arbeit" jobs, or part-time jobs in stores and restaurants etc, usually pay the same as the government-set minimum wage (4,890 WON per hour).

They don't, they don't pay much more, but the typical one actually seems to be around 6-7,000
there are a couple sites you can check that have jobs listed.
There are some part time jobs which do pay more. Like the people who hand out flyers get 20k/hour but they only get 2 hour stints doing it.

They pay more? Where, in Seoul? Either due to higher living cost or lower unemployment rate there? Anyone I've ever known has made just the legal minimum. But, I'm not in Seoul and everyone tells me how hard it is for young people to find a job.
