The behavior she's suggesting is very common among America's urban poor. Is that the population group you want to emulate?

Exactly.

Or look at the Philippines for another example of a population with poor decision making skills.

Or just look at people who get married and have kids for an example of people with poor decision making skills.

Fox is making a point not exactly like that which you mention.

I don't even know what we are talking about anymore.

Frankly, I think kids are a bad idea period. Financial black hole...

Anyways, maybe she thinks it gets her a ticket to America. But that only applies to the child.

If her child is American doesn't that pretty much allow her to stay with her child and eventually get citizenship? I don't know.

Actually no. Especially if the child wasn't born in the country of that citizenship and the parent isn't in country. However, if the kid was born in country, and the mother, or father, is still in the country I'm pretty sure they aren't going to make a big effort to force that parent out of the country because of the kid.

Having babies is wonderful. Go for it. Marriage can happen later it's actually more logical. One less thing to worry about if having kids causes your relationship to fail.

I don't recommend having kids without being married. Kids need a stable two parent home for the best chance of success in their own future.
