Typical medium/big city in Korea. If you want any sights, it's best to go another hour or so and see Busan. |

Thanks, but with the baseball games at 5 on Sat and 2 on Sun, it would eat up too much time to go to Busan. I've also been to Busan a bunch of times already and am planning to go again this summer.
Kinda just want to check out Masan, even if it's super boring. |

Masan, I lived there for 1 and 1/2 years and I liked it myself, but you have to really stretch:)
theres a mexican restaurant in the old downtown run by a Korean guy and his Mexican wife, so delicious, they make eveything, even the chips! its so weird to be there, but it was busy on the weekends. Otherwise near the bus terminal, but thats the same in most towns here.
The port maybe? Also, they had a Shinsegae department store. It just doesnt match the surroundings, but it had a Burger King, a Starbucks, and all that stuff. I was always like Why? but its cool it was there..... |

What is the name of the Mexican restaurant?
I visit Masan to see family a few times a year and that restaurant might be great. |

The name of the Mexican restaurant is "Mexico". It's in the shopping district near the fish market. |

Yeah I liked the old shopping district, falling apart. You can see the remnants of what used to be there, like the old Subway sigh, the Dunkin blocked up by the Ajumma selling wares, there was a movie theatre there, I think a church took it over. I used to hang out in the TeaHeim there, of all the old shopping areas in small Korean cities, I liked that one the most.
There was even a tattoo parlor there on the low, so weird, like...why? |
