Itaewon is full of escorts and drugs. The streets are littered with garbage and used condoms. Itaewon is a dirty place and reminds me of a american ghetto. When I go to itaewon I feel like people are angry and all the women are just looking for a quickie for some cash.

Anyone else feel this way?

uh don't go to itaewon. Do you go to the American ghettos? No. So why go to the Korean ones? Ive been to Itaewon 3 times in my 4 years here and hated it every time unless I was drunk out of my mind.

do an ip lookup, we aren't the same person (everybody knows who I am, I am a legend on this forum from years past). He just uses my posting style and uses the same words as I do (beta) because he has no gimmick or schtick/personality of his own. He's jocked me since the beginning, it's flattering, in a way, but pathetic, too.

Remember when Itaewon was actually rundown and dirty? I think Hongdae is dirtier than Itaewon now

I wasn't referring to you. Seeing how defensive you are though, I'd guess you're also an IPIC troll.

Only place in Seoul I can find some north american products. The escorts are tame compared to america and the angry people seem to have no ambition to actually fight. I was just concerned because it's kind of slumpy like a ghetto.

More like an urban trailer park and local carnival mixed together.

Hehehe! What on earth are you buying between the hours of 10pm and 6am?! Outside of those hours on Sun-Thur, almost everyone there is either working, a tourist or a housewife. From time to time, I'll spend the day working from my laptop in Starbucks... so quiet.

Some of you guys are describing around 1% of "Itaewon". Cross the street and you'll find one of the trendiest clubbing/eating streets in the city, and take a walk behind there and you'll find a bunch of multi-million dollar compounds and upscale apartments. A few steps towards hangangin and you'll run into some very nice places as well. Hell, keep following the street jr pub and wolfhound is on, it's nice now and at the end are a bunch of chic boutiques. You guys are talking about a few streets! Some dumpy spots but overall a pretty nice area these days.
