This is an odd thread, i'll agree in advance. After reading this article about spy cameras, i was wondering if anyone has ever used one. Their utility in arguments with crooked hogwon bosses, being threatened or racially abused, is what immediately springs to mind (not the perverted stuff as described in the article below). Anyone buy or use one in Korea?

"Electronics stores in Yongsan are popular venues and some actually state on their signboards that they sell spy cameras.

Spy cameras came in a variety of shapes and are priced from 70,000 won to 400,000 won. They can look like a USB drive, a car key, alarm clock, or a man’s wallet.

There is no legal grounds to stop the sale of spy cams because they are categorized as legitimate filming equipment. As long as they pass the technical specifications of the National Radio Research Agency under the Korea Communications Commission their sale is legal."

I think that a lot of people are going to get caught with their hand(s) in the cookie jar, that's what I think.
