Hi all you Korea Warriors!
I wanted to write this on this forum....but thought right afterwards that it was too gross. I think most of you are men for some reason. Maybe I'm wrong.

I had a few drinks and I'm gonna write it. It really drives home my point!

I love China so much, I am willing to give up tampons.

That's right ladies and gents. Should I have put that in the Subject line!? Was thinking bout it!

So yes. You ladies KNOW that tampons are an important part of life. Once you know tampons, life without is ridiculously unthinkable.

But consider me IMPRESSED with China. Enough to actually go out, buy some thin maxis, and use them. And to consider using them an entire cycle.

That is how happy I am in Shanghai.

I think you girls will understand. Guys, sorry if I grossed you out.
Well, a little sorry. Mostly amused. I'm so happy these days I could make MYSELF puke!

Discuss. And don't be mean. Very Happy

It's hard to drive anything home when you are drunk. It's also illegal.

Great post!
Shanghai is a top town!

Nice to read that someone here is happy as opposed to miserable. All the best.

Yeah, a little ewe, haha. I've no idea about the benefits of one women's sanitary product over the other, but I will say that my wife here in Shanghai is an ob/gyn doctor and she always uses maxis. Are the others just not available or something?

Anyway, glad you are still loving life. It's pretty awesome here, isn't it? Unlike Seoul, this place has not worn on me in the least and I enjoy living here 3 years in.

One last thing, ignore the homers like the one above.

The foreigners in China are generally a *lot* more upbeat about the place than in Korea. Even just the China VS. Korea forums on this site alone are near polar opposites.

No, you are right. The typical Dave's poster is male, over forty, Canadian, and married to a Korean.

Well, she called every men in Korea douche bag (tampon). Am I supposed to take that? What did I do to her (personally) before to deserve that? Razz

Of course more foreigners are happier in China, the Chinese aren't as xenophobic and racist as Koreans, there's more variety, the culture is most certainly more interesting - nothing new to read here.

andrewchon, I did not call 'every men in Korea douche bag (tampon)'. I said absolutely nothing about ...anyone..in my post.

I was commenting on the state of my new life. I suggest you improve your reading comprehension before responding to posts. Consult your dictionary if you don't know what a word means. A tampon is a device used to manage menstrual bleeding during a woman's monthly period.

Since you seem to like using emoticons, and you often use them inappropriately, here are a couple for you that really bring home my point:

Rolling Eyes
and
Laughing
