I want to leave a note on my neighbors door that says something along the lines of: "Please do not run in the building at night." or "Please do not bang objects or walk loudly during the night. Thank you. Your neighbor."

Could someone translate this for me? Thanks.

I don't want to start a fight as they are family
with 2 small kids. I would hate to traumatize them.

A fight will be the last resort.
Anymore translations more detailed to what I wrote?

I appreciate the response above....it's short, but I would prefer
a little stating the details. I also want to let them know its me their
neigbhbor and not the landlord...they might go complain to the landlord
and think it was him who left the note then the landlord would come to
me.

You don't need words. Get pictures off the web and cut and paste away until you have a sign that conveys the necessary meaning. I did that with my noisy neighbor and it proved very effective.

I would leave out the 동의하는 것으로 알겠습니다 part. It sounds a bit rude.

한밤중에는 이웃을 생각하는 마음으로 조용히 다닙시다. 감사합니다.
