One will be a fossil after only 5 years. Geez, 29 and over-the-hill.

When did the internet come out mid to late 90's? Wow, you folks have been here for a long time. Ha ha.

Brought my own computer with me in 1996.

Back then we also lived in shared accommodation- I lived in a new, huge 4 bedroom apt. with 3 other teachers. It was strange but, in retrospect, it was good as there were always others to hang out with. Had good/bad points- I have had some interesting roommates!

Ah shared accomodations! I also had 2 roomates my first 2 years in Korea. One was great, the second one was a complete wreck.

We also had the great standard 6-day work week to enjoy. Laughing

From a Busan standpoint we had just the one subway line as well so getting around was pretty daunting considering the crazy traffic. No KTX either.

I tried all combinations of numbers, Korean and Sino-Chinese.
Can't make heads or tails of either.

TJ was helpful. Why the snarky remark then Byrd?

Seriously, I do not get that.

For the record I didn't take it as 'snarky'.

Grandpa? Yup, some of the kids coming over here now weren't even born when I first came here nearly 23 years ago.

I took it as a 'Thank you'.

^This. I seriously don't get why Pat is being so sensitive. Obviously you saw it for what it was.
