I went to a place near Dongdaemun Stadium, just to give you info on price range. I think it was 10,000 per session without supplied lotions, or 150,000 and you get lotions and maybe a month membership, not sure, I had a hard time understanding just how long the membership was good for.
On the outside think it says sun tanning in english as well as Korean. |

Oh, I'm with you on the tanning bed thing. I really need some cancer. |
Yeah, tasteless, I know, but it's what popped into my head. |
Wait a minute... are you.. saying that... using tanning beds can increase one's risk of skin cancer??
Not tasteless, just brainless. Thanks for the heads up Corporal. |
Not brainless...how do you think Liverpool became the skin cancer capital of the UK. Its also the sun bed capital of the UK. |

Tried my third tanning salon in Korea with exactly the same results. Nothing.
120k for 13 sessions in a stand up bed. First session was this morning and was in there for 10 minutes. I knew I should have talked the guy into letting me pay for just one session to test it out. Doubt I'll get my money back.
How do these places stay in business? |

Burning is no good. Sun exposure/UVB rays are critical for vitamin d production and overall health. Maintaining a healthy tan is the best way to a) prevent burning from the sun, and b)maintain vitamin d levels for optimal health.
Just don't burn. 3-5 minutes on a low bed every few days is a commonly used protocol. |

There are tanning salons all over Seoul, most likely more than one in your neighborhood. Just go to naver maps at http://map.naver.com/
Type in the name of your Seoul district in Korean and then 텐 at the end. Hope this helps. |
