A small tip on going to Myeongdong in case anyone doesn't know this already: it can often be significantly easier to take Subway Line 2 (Green Line) to Iljiro-Il-Ga Station, and then walk up the hill to the shopping area, instead of going to Myeongdong station.
I found this out the hard way after having to do two or three transfers to get from Hongdae station to Myeongdong station, then walking down the hill after I was finished shopping, only to discover Iljiro-il-ga station right there  |
