I went there today (it's located next to Youngpoong Bookstore and well, it said only people who live in nine gus north of the Han River can get service there.

It also seemed like each booth had different lunch hours, and since I had work, I couldn't speak to the proper official.

Been there three times. Once to get my F6 and twice to renew it never had any issues with it. Much nicer than Mokdong. I've never had any issues with it, any time I've ever gone the wait time has never been more than 20 minutes. Best idea immigration has ever had was opening that office.

The Mokdong office has been reorganized as well. Things move a lot quicker now (if you don't make an appointment), but my Gu is now on the Chinese floor, which is a total cluster-f***.

I've been super impressed with immigration the last couple times I've been (~3-4 months ago).

Sejongno: went to notify them of the termination of my contract and since I didn't have the new contract yet and wouldn't for a while (just the promise of one), I had to go in (or so I was told over the phone) to extend the time without switching yet to the looking for work visa. I would be able to get one month time, which was just enough. Actually, it turned out that my old school hadn't called to let them know that the contract was over, so I couldn't do anything and wouldn't have had to come in, but I had a very short wait, and the guy I talked to was great about explaining everything I would need to switch visa types for my new job and then what I would need next year to switch again to an F visa.

Note for people who haven't been in a while, it's not at Anguk station anymore, they moved to near Jonggak.

Mokdong: went to change my address (no longer can go to Sejongno) and transfer my visa/change my visa to my new job. I was surprised at the short wait time, though it was in the middle of the day and near the end of August (a fairly busy time, I thought). The second floor (to get stamps and also to pay the fees to get my new ARC sent to me) was crazy, but still overall everything was very quick.

I like Sejongno better just because it's more convenient to get to (even from my new place). But otherwise, they're both pretty good now, I think.

Can anyone post a map to the new Sejongno branch? What's the name of the building it's in, and which station exit?

**edit** Didn't think that link would work... Immigration website links don't normally for some reason..

Here's a Daum map....
