I used to play a lot of steel tip darts when I lived in Seoul, but unfortunately my current city is lacking in that area.
I was wondering, how does one get hooked up with electronic dart tournaments? Do you have to qualify? Are they held all over the country, or mostly in Seoul?
Also, if anyone knows of an E-dart league in Daejeon, please let me know. |

The soft-tip leagues are generally run by companies that own the machines. The two biggest companies in Korea being Phoenix and Dartslive. Phoenix being the biggest and most organized.
Phoenix runs 2-3 leagues per year and various other events. They host 1-2 Major tournaments a year as well as 4-5 "Masters" tournaments. None of the Phoenix tournies require qualification, just a Phoenix member card and you enter the tournament according to your skill rating.
There are plenty of shops that run fairly regular house tournaments. In Daejeon you've got two options for popular "dart" bars. The first is "Martin's" address is: 대전시 유성구 궁동 422-1지하 1층
Second is Jikiskang Pool and Dart club 대전 서구 둔산동 1075번지 3층.
For other places check the phoenix web site: http://www.phoenixdart.kr/shop/ |
