It's newsworthy for koreans!
I'd say that this was a great way to overcome the animosity that has be harbored for centuries.
Next up, having a korean in charge of a major business in Japan! |

There already are Koreans (that were born in Japan) in charge of Japanese corporations. Lotte, Softbank are probably the biggest. |

When I lived in Japan and saw Lotte everywhere I assumed it was a Japanese company. After arriving in Korea I was angrily corrected that Lotte is NOT a Japanese company. The founder was Korean born but started it in Tokyo and the HQ is in Seoul.
I told the angry Korean that perhaps we can consider it a multi-national company. That made her angrier. |
