I can't tell you anything about the school as I've never heard of it, but I can tell you that it's not a bad area to teach in. The expat community of Suwon lives primarily in Yongtong, and there's a lot of good bars, clubs and restaurants in the area. |

I saw this post when I was looking for any information about Kim n Lee, and I just spent a year teaching there, so here's some information for anyone looking.
Kim n Lee is a decent and legit hagwon. Myself and the other teachers always got paid on time, and everything in the contract was honored. The director speaks English well, so communications were generally clear.
The apartments are decent as well, and are a very good size (no shoebox worries!). Mine actually had a separate kitchen (don't imagine it like a full-sized kitchen, though) and a balcony/laundry hallway.
Also, it's actually in Maetan, which is about a 10-15 minute taxi or bus ride from Yeongtong. The area is a nice place to live. (also super easy to get to Seoul, if that's important to you; about a 45 minute ~ 1 hour bus ride, also with access to the subway). |
