Congrats. I'm going for a department dinner on the 20th (undecided where, but most likely somewhere good-options are abundant). As for the day itself, who knows? I've got it off, but not sure of the wife's hospital schedule yet. |

I think we might go to one of the hotel buffets for Christmas Eve with friends. Christmas itself will be spent in jammies, and I'll make oatcakes for breakfast or lunch (whenever we get up) and American Chinese for dinner. |

Sounds enjoyable. What exactly will your "American Chinese" consist of? We had some heavily battered ass pork in the cafeteria at lunch today that reminded me of that. It made me nauseous, haha. |

I make mushu. It's a stir fry that has hoisin and soy sauce, several types of mushroom, a bit of egg, and veggies. Most people make it with pork, but I keep it vegetarian. Then, you roll it up in a type of crepe/pancake, but since I don't have them, I just use tortillas or rice paper with a dab of extra hoisin sauce on it for good measure. It's actually not terribly different from the original Chinese version, or so I've been told by a few Chinese friends. They just tend to use different vegetables that are more readily available in China. |

I usually go to Dunkin Donuts as they always have Christmas music playing this time of year and festive looking donuts. |

Normally...
Make my typical Christmas lasagna and eggnog. Get full and drunk, and pretty much go on as usual. |

We'll be at the Rockerfeller center for some ice-skate adventure. We'll go to the theater and have Dinner at Wallse’s for $115 per person with $75 for wine pairings. Six-courses. |

Usually do a Christmas Eve dinner of roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, deviled eggs, etc. Play x-mas music and watch a classic Christmas movie. Put the little one to bed. Wife and I enjoy some wine as we wrap the remaining presents and put them under the tree, put out the cookies/veggies for Santa and his reindeer, etc.
Next morning, we rejoice in our 4 year old celebrating Christmas the way it was meant to be. Later, we head to our friend's pub where other friends and family meet together.
Christmas in Korea has actually become a very favorable holiday for me.
Happy Holidays to all!! Cheers. |

I can't go home to be with family this year because my wife has to work Boxing Day. So we'll celebrate Christmas day with some good food and drinks just the two of us. I've requested my weight in shrimp be prepared. I ordered some Vanilla Kush and hash for the occasion (I'm in Canada). It will be a low key Christmas. I can't wait until we have kids and it will be all about them. |

How I do Christmas...
I ask five people to suggest a country I've never been in. Forwarding the list to a friend, I have them (in whatever way) randomly choose one of those five countries. That friend, forwards the unknown country to another friend of mine whom I trust and have given my billing information to.
That person, books me a flight only to the destination. I'm only told the time of my flight and airline, so that when I arrive, its a surprise to see where I'm going.
That's my Christmas. |

Awesome. I wish I were in Canada or certain select American states right now. |
