However, I strongly recommend going slowly and softly with the information. Going directly to one's administration is not advisable for various reasons. If there ever is a reason one needs to use any of the articles, it should be through legal counsel (such as lawyers the KFTA has on retainer).

Perhaps you could explain who the KFTA is and how to get a hold of them when needed?
Again, thanks for sharing the information in this thread.

Good question, CH. The KFTA is the Korean Federation of Teachers' Association (한국교원단체총연합회-->교총 in Korean short form). However, don't confuse it with the left-wing, radical KTU (VERY different orgs). You can join the KFTA by submitting an application (on their website), 재직증명서 (employment certificate) and photocopy of your bank book (for dues deduction--10,000 won/month) either by fax or hand delivery to your local chapter. Their website is www.kfta.or.kr (your local branch's info can be found on their website: http://www.kfta.or.kr/guide/si_do.asp). Once you have been a member for six months, you can have access to their lawyers--yes, it takes some time, but can be well worth it.
