I haven't celebrated it in Korea for the Christmases I've been here. This year will be the same. I may go hiking to mark the occasion, but in all likelihood I'll just stop in and play Skyrim. I'll Skype my parents in the evening
Sounds a bit grim but Christmas 2015 will be all the more special for it! |

By giving thanks to the person whom we venerate on this day. His birth, more than two thousand years ago, is what began it all. And although many people today no longer follow him, we should all take a moment on December 25th to remember Mithra.
He is, after all, the reason for the season.

Pfft! Maybe you should be my friend. A sense of humor and a sense of adventure, willingness for a little danger, sounds good to me. And if I wound up in Ghana, then I wind up in Ghana, its a story many people couldn't compare. "Remember that one time you got me sent to Ghana?" Could also be a great wingman pick up line or "Remember that one time you got me sent to Ghana? Yeah, this is worse"
Possibilities, I love those.
I've put Iran in the hat before myself. It didn't get picked, but ya know, it was in one year. |

I need 3 things to complete my Christmas meal:
1. A decent turkey
2. Some parsnips
3. Yorkshire puddings. Yum yum.
Too bad those are nearly impossible to get in Korea! |

We did that a few times while living in Busan (as a family I mean) and it was pretty cool. We had a small tree in our apt and had gifts for our son on x-mas morning. |

| I have a friend visiting from HK now, so I just ordered some Christmas stockings and will make a Homeplus run for bits and bobs to put in them. It's her first "western" Christmas, though she was informed that we're both atheists. I'd still like it to be special for her. My original plan of making oatcakes and "Chinese" stands. |
