Considering everything that Uncle Sam has been up to ... I'd almost rather take my chances with the Chinese. Certainly can't be any worse.

Uncle Sam invented the internet and as such can do as he dam well pleases with it. If so many want to copy/rip off his technology and nobody wants to pay him a royalty for it; well they get what they deserve.

Actually, the www was invented by a Brit working in Switzerland.

Without his work you'd still be using gopher, lynx, archie and jughead.

Can you believe some idiots will actually then provide their personal phone number to FB, along with their date of birth, entire life history (profession, education) and a bunch of other information?

Then can you believe these people will then whine about their privacy being invaded?

Yeah I know, classic.

At one time, all you had to do to find a person's personal telephone number and home address was pick up a phone book. Shocking.

It's out of control.

Also seems like Youtube keeps trying to sync people's account up with their Gmail account, and their real name. And Gmail is always asking for your phone number.

The internet is a fail.
