|
|
Just as the title says, I want to get a South Korean army (ROKA) uniform. id prefer one with the newer digital camo, but the older woodland camo is okay too.
Are there any ROK army surplus stores in Seoul or daejeon, or anywhere?
Thanks! |

I don't know if you can buy one retail, but you could probably buy one from a discharged soldier. An ex-coworker of mine once bought some Korean Marines clothes from one of her students. |

Go to one of the markets, and often you'll find an adjosshi selling 2nd had military uniforms. Discharged guys hard up for money often sell their army stuff to them. |

Just go to any of the towns/cities/ri's towards the DMZ and they all sell them!
There are army surplus stores all over towns like these. |

Right! I can't get there until February, so I'll have to wait... But I'll post back if I am successful.
In the meantime, if anyone else has any other suggestions or ideas, they are most welcome! |

India. I was in Kashmir where there is a huge military presence, and did a double take when I saw a Korean name embroidered on a guy's uniform. They clearly buy old Korean army uniforms there and leave the name on |

Now that you'll be enlisted into the ROK, what do you want to be? I'd go for for either:
1. 헌병 :military police
2. 운전병: driver
If you are cute and can suck up, you can go for:
3. 붕어빵병: soldier designated to get goldfish cake for CO. That is a sweet gig. |

On the North Korean side of the DMZ. Most SK soldiers have no further need for them when they escape to the Socialist Paradise of the North. Great for Halloween Parties you Imperialist Swines!!!! Mwa ha ha ha ha.... |
