How fat are some of you people? Starting a thread about McDonalds now having curly fries? Are french fries so important to you that you need to start a discussion about them on an esl forum?

They're french fries. Get over it.

Actually, from what I understand, they are only sold in a few countries. They aren't available back home.

That's on you.

Do you have the mindset that Korea exists to entertain you?

No it's not.

Why would I have that mindset? Us types who believe in creativity can entertain ourselves just fine, thank you.

Even so, watching a blind rabbit run in circles on Dave's is awfully entertaining. Thanks!

Actually it is on you atwood.

If you really believe in creativity, then you should be able to find not just one or two things, but many, to occupy your time.

Why are you here atwood? I'm not asking this as an instant rejoinder, but as someone who has watched you harp on this place constantly and suggesting that this place has few, if any, redeeming qualities. If that is so, why do you remain here?

I don't agree with the "Why are you here?" as a first response, but for someone who habitually complains, it bears asking. It's like someone who constantly goes to bars or rap concerts, but constantly complains about alcohol and rap music. At some point you just have to ask "Dude, then why don't you leave?"

Even without Wavy Freedom Fries, there are plenty of ways to keep entertained in the Land of the Morning Calm, like trying to sleep through the truck vendors in the morning. If nothing else, you could try surveying random foreigners, asking "Do you know Kimchi?".

Where did I say I can't find things to occupy my time? Until you can quit twisting and spinning my words, and quit making up "facts" to support your assertions, I'm not answering any questions from you.

Rick: I was misinformed.

LOL. Steelrails has managed to turn the "curly fries" thread into a flame war. The only way this ridiculous thread can be redeemed is by linking to Jim Gaffigan's take on the matter. Very Happy

Enjoy.

^Actually you and atwood seemed to have started it. What kind of weirdo clicks on a curly fry thread and ends up making cracks at Korean culture.

The same kind of weirdo who comes to a forum, signs up and then proceeds to complain about it, offer nothing of value and make snarky comments as though he's above it all.

What kind of weirdo takes a few humorous remarks at face value and then attacks them?

What kind of weirdo than inflates it into "taking cracks at Korean culture"?

If you ask nicely and super-size your next "set" at McDonald's they might throw in a free sense of humor packet for you. You might find that it comes in handy.

It's sad that your poor life choices have forced you to stay in a place you hate and be miserable all the time. Cheer up bro.

That's more like it. Ease the pain with humor. Glad you are taking my advice.

Some of you sound like you could use a Happy Meal, or two. Make sure you get your Hello Kitty toys.
