Had 'em today. Loved it.
Obviously not an every day thing, but was cool to have. Reminded me a bit of Arby's back home.
Oh, and the sizing was fine (by Korean standards). |

Wendy's is the best (for fast food franchises). Tell me again, why there use to be one here and not now? |

I love Wendy's. I have worked there as well~
Japan and Singapore both have Wendy's. Ya, never know it might come to Korea some day.
Those Frosty's would be good on a hot summers' Day. |

I think one of the reasons they are hard to open here is that they are the most expensive fast food restaurant to start up.
I think CJ would be the company to do it.. |

I'd rather have Arby's. Or Steak n Shake. I'm from the Midwest so I don't know about Carl's Jr., never had the pleasure of In'n'Out or Nathan's.
I remember back home round the time I left for Korea that me and my friends observed that Wendy's was slipping in terms of quality.
Also, a Hongdae/Itaewon Denny's to watch the mayhem would be great. |

tried them, LOVED THEM
not as amazing as arby's fries but they're nice and hot at least when i had them and slightly less flavorful but pretty damn good
i also liked the sandwich i got the fries with
sadly, the mcdonalds i went to didn't let me exchange the regular fries for curly fries and i got mad at the server lady and she got scared and called the manager who just said straight up you can't exchange it
haha nothing makes me angrier than not being able to customize my food
sad thing is that i look 100% Korean. i think i've met only like 3 people in my 5 years here that could tell i wasn't korean so this musta been a curve ball for all parties involved haha
korean looking korean dude who speaks negligible korean wanting to customize food haha |

You must a sad individual if you get mad at the mcds cashier and ask to speak to a manager. I mean, who does that? |

I took it as a clown post. Do you think he was actually serious about that? |

Not on the topic of curly fries...
...but has anyone noticed that there is a 10 meter radius around the Itaewon McDonalds, within which you are magically transported into inner-city hell? |

Evidently they were a limited time menu item and now they are gone. Aren't you glad you tried them? |

By that, are you implying that McDonald's has sandwiches that do not taste like puke on a bun? |
The problem with Mcd's is their sandwiches are tasteless. Unless their serving dollar burgers or the price is somehow cut its Burger King for me. |

Fries are good.
Do not order the nasty burger they come with. Truly the worst burger you could find in Korea. |
Bulgogi was one of the things that Korean children would rave about that I didn't understand. It's just not that great really and on burgers its really the same, not that great. Some type of Kimchi Jigae burger would be great, but nobody in Korea has thought that up yet. |

If you get a coke zero and don't supersize, the amount of calories in a micky D's is nothing to worry about. |
Also French Fries are not junk food. Due to the high fat content you don't want to eat them all the time, but they have a lot of nutrition, substantial protein, substantial fiber, minerals and vitamins. Hamburgers certainly are not junk food for the same reason.
There are Thais in Northern Thailand that are stunted in growth because they rely too much on rice. If they relied more heavily on McDonald's French fries they would be a lot better of. In fact they are trying to get the farmers to grow sweet potatoes in those regions. |

I agree from a burger standpoint but BK fries over here are awful....they are soggy and flavorless just like Lotteria's fries. |
