|
|
I was just wondering if there are some short term esl teaching jobs out there.
I am graduating from B.Ed this year and planning on starting a teaching career in September. But I'd love to teach ESL over the summer in Korea to also brush up some of my Korean speaking skills.
Are there any positions like this? Where would I find them? And when would they start coming around? |

There are all sorts of 3-week summer camp jobs. Just keep monitoring all the Korean ESL job sites. But if you're coming from the U.S. you'll only about break even financially. |

My wife and I interviewed for and were accepted at 3 or 4 places last year. They will be out there, but not until closer to summer. April to June is the best hiring time for positions that start in late July/early August. The job will last for 3 weeks to 3 months. I recommend SEV (Seoul English Village). It is not perfect, but it is a really easy place to transition into and ideal for short term work. |
