Hi i have read ALOT of posts about trying to get a visa without a degree but i couldnt find any mention of whether there is an allowance for people with other qualifications and classroom experience. I am qualified level 3 GNVQ childcare and education and have worked in schools in the UK.

It seems strange that a degree (no matter how unrelated to teaching) is more appealing than real school experience.

Any help?

Daycare and Education (Teaching) are very different things.

As for the lack of B.A., it will stop you dead in your tracks as no teaching visa would be issued if you lack the B.A. Degree.

Why do people always try to find a way around the rules?

Immigration REQUIRES at a MINIMUM a degree, clean CBC and a health check for issuance of an E2 (teacher of foreign languages) visa.

The lack of an actual degree means you CANNOT (legally) teach in Korea (or most of ASEAN for that matter).

If you are from the UK then go to Spain. A CELTA and a pulse are all that you need.

Sign up for a K language course. Then you've got a student visa and you can work 20 hours/week.
