So, my contract ends soon but my boss wants me to stop work 2 days early (apartment reasons). I am concerned about not getting my pension... if it says I worked 363 days instead of a full year.... do you think that would be an issue?

Also, another more basic pension question....I am going back to my country (USA) but if I decide in the future to return to Korea to work, would I not receive a pension then if I get it back now?

Thanks for the help!!

Pension (NPS) doesn't care about time worked.
Go to the pension office and apply for your refund.
You need your passport, ARC and one way ticket out of Korea.

Your "severance" on the other had (unless your boss is very nice) requires 1 FULL year of employment to qualify. Leaving at 363 days means that your employer does NOT (legally) have to pay it out.

If you return to Korea at some future date, the NPS won\t care that you withdrew your contributions early and it will start again.
