|
|
I am really caffeine sensitive but got introduced to Celestial Seasonings night time tea last time in America. I wonder if there are similar things available in Korea. I know the buckwheat tea (메밀차) is caffeine free, but it is really lacking in flavor. The orange or citron tea in the big jars is also nice, but seems really packed with sugar.
I saw a lot of fruity tea while looking around, but they never state "caffeine-free" like they would in America; it seems to not really be an issue here.
Any ideas of nice night time teas?
Thanks,

You can guy the celestial seasons sleepy time tea here. It's really overpriced though, 10K for a box. It's basically chamomile tea with other flavors mixed in. |

You should be able to find chamomile tea at any Homeplus or Emart location. Some department stores have a foreign food market - they might have a larger selection of tea, but expensive. Several websites (Amazon and iherb) both deliver some tea products to Korea. If you can have anyone send you some that would be the easiest, and least expensive way - if you get sent a large amount. When the weather is warmer, there are Foreign Flea Markets in Seoul, and some of the booths have sold teas in the past. |

Chamomile tea and jujube tea are both cheap and plentiful in the supermarkets. |

i get all my tea from iherb as well as many other goods. many foreigners do as well because they have fast and cheap shipping to korea as well as many items that are simply unavailable here.
absolutely recommend them. if you make an order with them you can use the code "UGA454" to get 10 bucks off your first purchase too. |
