Any information concerning Kyung Hee in Seoul? I was contacted about starting in March and wanted to know if anyone had anything to say about the school. I also have something else so if Kyung Hee isn't good, I can go elsewhere.

Hi

I don't know if you ever started at KyungHee but I taught there 30 years ago and really liked my students. Some of the professors then were odd (arrogant) but they are probably retired (or deceased) by now. The only problem I had was that I did not really care for the room that they provided at the time, and since I was not using it often, another professor demanded to have it and I was "kicked out" with apologies. I personally did not like living on campus, but lived in a typical student home (hasuk-chip) in a lovely area near Sungkyungkwon university. I have considered returning to Korea, not not really seriously. It sort of feels like I have "been there, done that". But I did like Kyung Hee very much.

Good luck
EJW

That's a good school, but I have heard that there is a lot of office politics there. Watch out for one girl in particular........
