How common is this?

Do many people do a runner two weeks before the contract was up?

I had to stay in my gf's place until my visa ran out and get my parents to wore me airfare...

Considering you are basically throwing away your severance etc....no I doubt many people quit in the last month. I think someone would be very very silly to do that unless they had a really good reason to make such a silly mistake.

But you can quit past one year and still get your severance.

You worked almost 1 year and still need money from your parents? Obviously it's not common, who can't stay 2 more weeks after working 11+ months? Why did you "have to" stay at your GF's place?

It was a wonderland.

The new guy had worked a few months and wanted to screw the school with us both 'running' at the same time.

He went back to Taiwan and I wanted to stay with my gf until I had to leave so stayed in her place.

I had no money because I had been robbed in Thailand the week before. My parents had replaced that though. I knew my parents would send me the money to live and be able to fly home.

They were also willing to fly me to japan and throw in some extra money in case I wanted to stay and look at my options.

If you're trying to gain fame as a guy who yanked people's chains on daves esl cafe, as it seems, you've set your sights pathetically low.

Is there any particular reason why you feel the need to constantly re-tell this story? You keep creating threads to give yourself a reason to rehash this sob story over and over and over again.

As far as trolls go, this guy is not too bad. His 'character' is just such an idiot that I want to give him a good smack to the back of the head. But then I remind myself that he's not real and shouldn't be treated as though he were. I'd give him a 6.5/10 troll score.

I am real.

What do I need to do to prove it?

I will dig out my old arc and passport to prove the dates.

Then again it would not prove I actually did the 'runner' so I suppose I'll have to get testimonies from the very few who knew this.

Why do you think I am trolling?

I keep bringing it up because years later and after working in china for a few years, returning to the uk and being happy and getting a job in Tokyo (a place I have always wanted to work), I then went back to see the person in china that convinced me of the runner and I got screwed again. (A holiday in china from the uk when I needed to remain in the uk to be able to go to Tokyo- makes no sense).

I honestly did not want to visit, just as I honestly did not want to quit korea.

Both times have lead to massive costs and me being left completely f8cked.

The content and style of your posts says as much. It's fine though. Sometimes a troll can spice things up, especially when he gets under the collar of a few posters.

I miss IPIC. I liked that time he called that guy a scrub.

What is it about Korea that attracts so many freaks and losers? Quite sad really. (I'm embarrassed by so many of the Westerners here.)

*Why is it the bad posters are those who post the most?*

(generally speaking)

SO you got arrested for fighting (Posted: Sun Jul 21, 2013 7:02 pm" I was in Korea years back as a rather naive 22 year old. Anyway, one night I got into a fight, was arrested and released)

arrested for touching a girls ass,

had to pay a 2million won fine

pulled a runner with 2 weeks left in your contract, and needed your parents to bail you out

and got robbed in Thailand and needed your parents to bail you out again

you repeatedly create threads to tell these tall tales expecting pity from the foreign community, and offer to "prove it" if anyone calls you out
"Thu Dec 26, 2013 7:08 am I can go find my arc card and passport to prove I ran less than a month before"

What's the point? Time to give up on this character
