|
|
| I need to go to the Labour Board as soon as possible. I was wondering if there are any services available that I could utilize to hire an interpreter for a small fee to assist with filing. I have been to the labor board before. However, the people who had previously gone with me aren't available this week. The labor board for my district is in Suwon. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Maybe post a message on the Suwon Newbies Facebook page and see if anyone knows somebody that could help.
Failing that go to one of the big unis (Aju or Kunghee) and ask around for students who might be able to help for a small fee. Might have some luck asking around at the expat bars as well. |

Ministry of Labor has a website.
You can file a complaint online in English, unless it is only possible in Seoul. |

That's true and depending on the issues or case, someone could use the labor ministry as an interpreter, just call them up on the date of your hearing. At least that's what they told me a few years ago. If things don't go well and there is a 2nd hearing maybe you could hire someone? |

You could file a complaint online, but you'll usually get better results if you go in person.
I would guess that at the Suwon office there is someone who can speak English. Give it a try. If necessary, you could probably use the free tourist interpreting service or BBB (a free volunteer interpreter service).

BBB: 1588-5644
