You mean the one in Cheong ju? I used to know a guy who worked there, and I never heard him say a bad thing about it. I don't know much about the actual details but if you want more info about CJ, send me a PM

You live and work on a korean military base. You're about a 25 minute drive from town. It's gets very boring quickly. Being on a base, the MP's WILL AND DO come unannounced into your room at any time they feel like it. Been there done that. You are allowed NO guests in your room.
Being a military base, protocol is observed. You have these high ranking officers who don't know their a$$ from their elbow and you'll have some that will try and impress you that they are the kings, etc. and some that are just great. But, you piss of the wrong one or get on the bad side and you life is miserable.
Pay is OK, classes are LARGE. Split shifts, early and late evenings at times. You do get to fly around korea for free as a fringe benefit. You can fly on a small military aircraft to one of the various bases in korea, catch a taxi into town from the base, shop then return and fly back to the air force academy. At least it was that was a year ago.
You need to be WELL prepared for class. It ain't no hokwon. These military cadets take education seriously. If you are not well prepared, you will find yourself out of a job in a moments notice. Labor laws be dammed. You're on a military base and different rules apply. The military has the power.
On the plus...
you'll make GREAT and I mean GREAT connections if you play your cards right. These young cadets are the military's future leaders... they WILL remember you and it'll pay off down the line. The current leaders on the base also can be to your advantage! You get in tight with the Generals and Colonels... you can line up a gig at the better universities in korea or one of the better companies.
You do need to get a security clearance. Takes time. If you have any skeltons in your closet... they will find them and no job then.
They DO verify degrees.
