Hey, thanks for responding. Yes, HBO Go. I'm moving to SK at the end of the month and bring my tablet. Can't miss the new season of Game of Thrones coming up next month.

Only way you are going to do that is keeping your HBO/cable subscription in the US and paying for a VPN to get into the HBO site in the states, otherwise you are SOL

Now you will be able to find episodes on sites like eztv or pirate bay

Funny Americans and your stifling notion of how entertainment is delivered. You are about to enter the realm of bittorrent. Your mind will be blown.

This. EZTV has HD torrents of Game of Thrones within minutes of it airing on HBO.

C'mon, it's 2014.

Impossible to have it within minutes of it airing. More like an hour. They have to encode it ya know.

My bad, within an hour. Though some channels such as Showtime and HBO will post episodes on their "On Demand" a day before it comes out on regular TV. So that is maybe why I've seen episodes in the past seemingly pop up so quickly.

Regardless, it's quick.

I watch HBO here in Korea. You guys are not aware of all the options available.

Downloading fills your computer with viruses/cookies/malware and other crap. There are alternatives.

an old used $100 media computer used only for the purpose of torrenting that you don't mind getting "cookies" on (who is scared of cookies?) would surely be better than whatever way you are streaming hbo

i've never gotten a virus from downloading media torrents

i don't torrent exe files often

Buy a slingbox before you move here, and have someone you know back home install an extra cable box for you. You can then control the cable box through an app called slingplayer or the slingplayer website directly. Just pay for the box (a one-time fee) and the monthly cable bill. My dad got me one before I moved here. Downloading stuff works, but it's nice to be able to have cable all in English.

use bittorrent or if you must see it at that moment use hotspot shield (a vpn service). it's like 7 dollars a month and you can stream anything you want from america using it.
