I don't know how they'll ever recover from it. |

How are Korean regulators ever gonna be able to afford having a good time if they keep giving out fines like this? I guess they're happy with a bottle of soju and a few songs at the norae-bang.
Being unable to issue new cards for two months might hurt a bit, but the fines don't send much of a message regarding security.
Are there any class-action suits being brought against the banks? |

Personally, I dont think they should have been fined at all. The issue did not originate as a result of some error by the firms, but rather a single employee working for an outside company
That particular employee should be paying the fines, and the officials of the company that hired him should have been bowing down their heads in apology...not the victims of the theft (the three big firms mentioned) |

I'm sorry but 6,000,000 won fine for a bank?
Is this some sort of ruse? Uh....WHAT!?
Is that even legal? Sounds like harassment to me. |
