Don't ever have a medical need outside of the hours of Monday to Friday 9 to 6 PM. The one hospital that's open in my city overnight won't actually help you. It's just a decoration!
At least in Canada, the city hospital would give you a temporary fix until you can see a medical professional. Filling falls out, so I'll just sit here all effin night with an aching hole in my tooth. What a bunch of effen amateurs.
A doctor would not be detailed in dentistry, but would at least know enough to put a temporary filling in until you get in to see your real dentist or give you some pain killers or something.
Every time I start to become chill here, something stupid has to go and happen and make me question why there's such a lack of common sense here.
Medical care is great during business hours, but God help you outside of those times. Eff they're so incompetent here sometimes!!! |

Now that I think of it, I had a stomach problem 3 years back once in the middle of the night and went to the one 24 hour medical center and pretty much got the same lack of effen help. F@k, this country sometimes!!! |

Funny. You got to laugh, because it's true, but there's nothing you can do about it. At least the taxes are low and the women are pretty. |

It's not only Korean that this happens. First of all, a doctor isn't qualified to insert a temporary filling. Did you ever think about the legality for them if they preformed such a thing? Secondly, I've been to an after hours emergency room in America twice and their service was very sub-par as well. |

Why would a doctor know how to put in a filling? |

Sure if 1980's fashion and vampire death pallor makeup overuse are your thing. |

When he says put a filling in, (i assume) he doesn't mean the a&e doctor getting the drill out and doing some dentistry.
He means they fill the hole, usually with some sort of pain killer or anti-inflam stuff, and a temporary gum cement substance. Usually it's good for about 48-72 hours until you can get to a real dentist. It reduces the pain and stops food and other crap getting in there.
I would have thought any 24 hour hospital would have that stuff on hand. I would be as surprised/annoyed as the OP if they didn't. I've seen temp filling kits sold in a pharmacy. |

Are you on those meds now? Lol
J/k..I guess it comes down to threshold of pain. I could get by with a little ibuprofen, but I wouldn't be opposed to a stronger scrip either. |
