How much student debt do you/did you have?

This video is a comedic warning about majoring in the humanities.

Video

Now this deals with student debt in the US, not sure how other countries compare.

$165,000 for an MBA and part of an MSA. By the time I'm done (2 semesters maybe 3) it will be $190000.

I'm on the Income-Based Repayment plan, so payback is as such:

10% of my pre-tax income over $17,000 (poverty level plus 50%)

after 20 years, the remainder is forgiven.

Not too sure, I think it's somewhere between 11-14k GBP, so about 18-23k USD. I could pay it off now but I have other plans for that money!

Scholarships left very little for my parents to pay for my first degree, and I'm using the money I saved in Korea for my second. There's no telling how much I'll get saddled with after vet school, though.

For profit college, plus some from a previous college attempt when I wasn't quite ready for college yet.
So, total college only, 62,000.
It's down to 55,000 after 2 years. I've been working at paying my credit cards too, but now that I'm pretty good on that (3k left to go!), this year will be focused on paying college down, goal is to get into the 30,000-something range.
After which I'll be moving to Japan and 30k will be a lot easier to handle while living there, even with higher expenses.

About 20 grand USD. Paid half of it in Canada and half in Korea. For my grad degree about 35 grand USD. Graduated last year and already paid back around 17k of it. Glad I didn't have to go to Korea or the gulf to do it. My secret is using my work cell as my main cell, having no car, living with roomates and keeping going out to a minimum. I'm able to put about 1800 a month on debt.

I'll have about $25k by the time I graduate. Then, Korea. Then, hopefully, grad school in Canada, to acrue more debt.

$35K, down to $23K after 4 years of payments. It hasn't exactly been at the top of my priority list the last couple years. Actually, it would probably be down to around $15K if I didn't have high med costs in 2012 and 2013... Due to that health problem (now taken care of), I decided building up an emegency savings was more important.
