Hi, I’m looking for someone to take over my apartment contract starting in April or possibly May. The apartment is located at Sinchon station exit 8. The subway station and the Hyundae Department Store bus stop is literally about 20 seconds from the front door of the building. This apartment is incredibly convenient for someone who is living, studying or working in Sinchon, and it’s a really good price for the location. It’s a good apartment for 1 person.

The key money is 5,000,000 and the monthly rent is 500,000 + utilities. The electricity comes to about 30,000-40,000 a month in winter and the water is about 5,000-10,000.

The apartment is also very quiet and doesn’t get hot or cold in the summer or winter because the window faces north and the curtains that cover it are thick, which is good for people who like to sleep in or have a darker apartment. The apartment is on the 10th floor, and mosquitoes usually only go up to about the 5th floor of most buildings. The wallpaper is clean and there’s no blood marks from people killing mosquitoes at all. The apartment is in remarkably good condition. I suspect that it had been vacant for a long time before I moved in. I was here all winter and never felt cold at all, and never needed to use the heater.
The bed I’m including is actually sitting on top of its frame in the photo I took, usually the frame goes around the bed in a sort of enclosed-style, I just prefer to put it on top of its own frame because I like my bed to be a little bit higher than ground level. Makes it easier to get in or out of the bed.

The bathroom, unfortunately, is Korean-style, which means you’ll be showering on the toilet. It makes the bathroom easy to clean, but I don’t enjoy it generally. The good thing, however, is that the bathroom is really clean and really big, and it dries incredibly quickly. The shower also gets incredibly hot if you want, and practically turns the bathroom into a steam room. The toilet is also really strong and works like a jet engine.
It’s about a 10 minute walk from Yonsei’s main gate and about 5 minutes from Seogang’s main gate.

I’m leaving Korea and need to get rid of my stuff, but I’m willing to let you have anything of mine that you may want to keep/sell/throw away because I don’t want to go through the hassle of selling all of it.
The apartment has built-in air conditioning, a newer washing machine, two-burner gas range with fan and light, medium-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, wall-mounted heater, and a phone that calls the security center in the front of the building.
I’ll also take any offers on the things below, just name your price.

I’m including:
- American-made Queen size bed (amazing, not a rock-hard Ikea or Korean-made bed) (value: 150,000)
- Weights, barbell and dumbells, workout bench (good for exercising at home) (value: 100,000)
- Computer and monitor (HP Pavilion, I’ll wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows for you if you want) (value: 200,000)
- Computer desk (value: 30,000)
- XBOX 360 with 3 games (Black Ops, Black Ops 2, Grand Theft Auto 5). The XBOX has a fan mod to keep it from overheating, but still works online just fine. (value: 125,000)
- Acoustic guitar (The neck has a crack so the high strings lose tuning after a week or so, but otherwise perfect) (value: 50,000)
- Electronic keyboard (value: 50,000)
- Small convection heater (value: 50,000)
- Small clothes hanger/closet (value: 25,000)
- Two paintings (value: 25,000)
- Fan (value: 25,000)
- Computer chair (value: 20,000)
- Clothes hanger (value: 15,000)
And some other free things:

- Assorted dishes and cookware (pans, utensils, bowls, plate, cups)
- Several empty storage boxes
- Scale
- Clothes hangers and

That’s right, I’m including almost 850,000 won worth of free stuff to do with as you wish. The only thing I would suggest replacing is the computer chair, since the seat is old and is starting to get ripped up. I need to leave Korea soon and I just want to get rid of everything.

If you agree take over my contract, I’ll sell or throw away anything on this list you don’t want.

If you want more information, more pictures, or want to view the apartment e-mail me at [email protected] or send a kakao message to: cambutler
