I want to appy for a hagwon and I'm curious as to who can recommend a good recruiter? Also, I don't plan on agreeing to work at a hagwon unless it is stable, pays on time, and it's generally a decent place to work(I would want to talk to a current teacher)-but before accepting, how HARD is it to find a good one since I presume I will interview with many bad before good? Can anyone personally vogue for a SPECIFIC hagwon that is good? Or a few?? |

I would try TeachESLKorea.com or Gone2Korea.com. I have talked with both of them about hagwons and they agree to let me talk to as many foreign staff employed there for advice, and provide pictures of the institute.
Hagwons have a bad reputation, but if you google some blogs of people in hagwons a lot of them seem pretty content. Don't settle for the first job offered, look around as much as possible and when you get a school name that you're interested, check the blacklists and reviews. There are way too many hagwons to list the best ones, etc. Just google reviews and post here to see if anyone knows about it.
You can go a long way with doing your own research. |
