|
|
Hello all,
I don't have a bank card yet and have to withdraw money using my Korean bank book from the ATM. I stood like a fool trying to figure out how to do it, with no avail. I tried looking online on how to do it, but couldn't find anything. I tried inserting it, swiping it. I know this is probably going to be really obvious, but I can't figure it out. |

You put the bank book opened to the page with the last printed entry (make sure there are more lines, or else use the next page) into the machine (there's a separate slot for it on the ATM) and select withdrawal. (Choose the english menu, most have the option).
You might need an extra pin/security number after you enter your normal (bank card) PIN, at least mine does if I use the bankbook. You have to get that from your bank and set up your bank book to allow for withdrawals. That's why you might be stumped. |

Just walk in and go up to the greeter and ask him or her. They'll gladly help you. |
