Just got offered a decent job back in the US. My wife is gonna stay here for a year while she finishes school and then reevaluate our plans. I'm curious if it is possible or even advantageous to keep my F6 visa. I've been working here 4 years now so I'd like to have my pension money now because the exchange rate is favorable, however I don't really need the money now. I don't plan on working in Korea again, but will be traveling here at least twice during the next year and probably once per year after that.
Is there any reason to keep my visa or should I just give them my ARC at the airport and get the pension money now? |

I heard it's possible to keep your F visa and still get the money. There are a few people on this forum who say they've done it or know people who have. Apparently there's a thread on the Fvisa holders' forum? |
