Not in that sentence, but yes. The top and bottom against the middle. Or more accurately, the top uses the bottom against the middle.
For example, blacks (the bottom) come out in droves (North Korea style results) to vote for a guy who was the #1 recipient of Wall Street (the top) bribery. |

Having been in countries where porn is illegal, don't think you have a strong case, also, see prostitution laws.
Although, if you are making the case about only saving the morality of middle upper class white girls at Duke, you probably are correct. |

Laws against financial fraud haven't eliminated financial fraud so what is the point of having the laws? |

No, just on the directness. The if a happens than b will result formulation we both know isn't true. Also implied was the idea that the prohibition might make more trouble than the vice itself. |

This poor girl is a damaged head case. After a few hundred grand in therapy, rehab, etc, she'll wake up and realize she sucked dick for 1200$ and it ruined her life. She clearly isn't able to make responsible decisions for herself and it would benefit all involved if her ability to make those decisions was severely restricted.

A possibility is that this has been carefully managed and is a media event working towards the HRC election. The girl has been on The View and many other TV shows. It is odd that this story pops up out of nowhere, for no special reason. Fire up the feminist base, polarize the society, etc. Get people focused on certain topics. It's like shelling a city before you invade. Soften it up a bit. This is why the Trayvon thing became the biggest story on earth right around the time Hope and Change was applying for his second term. |

I'm almost exclusively worried about the top versus all, but I am going to count this exchange as ending in agreement. |
