From my perspective the exact opposite is the case. New conditions may be wearing away at ideologies like nationalism and religion, but they're being replaced with alternative ones which are equally unreal and similarly dysfunctional. Productive men with families to provide for losing their jobs over a quiet joke shared with a friends. 4th grade classrooms being mandated to learn about the "history of homosexuality." Fundamentalist egalitarian thought which directly conflicts with all available data. Promotion or hiring exams are deemed racist (and thus in violation of the law) if they fail to engineer an equal outcome, with no concern to the actual objective qualifications of the people involved. Gender identity narcissism demanding the entire world cater to the delicate ego of people probably best described as mentally ill. Some of the most powerful and influential women in the country getting together to make an advertisement about how we need to stop calling sassy young girls "bossy." Radical libertarians who are willing to undermine the society which has given them everything for the sake of a little quick cash or comfort. If that's waking up, it's waking up with a hangover and immediately vomitting on yourself before passing out again. |
Yeah screw those liberals with those crazy ideas! They're what's causing all the problems in the world, problems that we can just talk about abstractly and don't need to actually provide proof that they exist or harm society. Just saying it over and over again should be enough! After all fourth graders are being force fed the homosexual agenda! Because I say so! Who needs examples or proof!
Why can't we just go back to a simpler time when everyone got to act freely? It was much better then. Unless you were gay, non-Christian, non-white, female, etc. But now that those people are DEMANDING to be treated equally to Christian white straight men who speak English, it's completely destroying the peaceful, pleasant world we had. What selfish jerks. Good thing the internet exists for us to vent our frustrations since our outdated and laughable world view makes us social pariahs unable to get dates. Which of course only fuels our hatred of women further. It's all their fault! If women would have just stayed uneducated slaves to men, I wouldn't have to develop any social skills or think of them as human beings deserving of respect. The only way to solve this is by posting hateful posts on the internet blaming everyone but myself. |

| The above of is a perfect example of PC lunacy. Odd that these uber-PC types then choose to live in Korea, guess you guys must have an agenda of trying to convert Koreans, because Korea is one of the most conservative non-PC countries on the planet. |

California recently passed a law specifically along those lines: teaching the "history of homosexuality" starting in 4th grade. I linked an NPR article about it in the Current Events forum. Go read it if you need "proof," or simply use Google. It's not as if it's some big secret. In fact, every single item on that list I wrote can be sourced with real-world examples, many of which I've already mentioned here on this forum. There is nothing abstract about any of it.

Did my post make you feel like I hated you? I don't. In fact, I like you, and perhaps more importantly, while some people might exasperate me a bit, I do not hate anyone. I do wish, though, that you'd be more measured in your responses to me.
Also, happily married men do not need dates. |
