MLB is kicking off the 2014 season in Sydney, Australia with two games between LA and Arizona. These are not exhibition games. The first game is on MBC Sports, (channel 60 for some), right now.

The Korean pitcher Ryu is the scheduled starter for LA in game 2 which will be tomorrow morning.

Happy baseball's back. Watching now. I've got both Choo & Ryu on my fantasy team which means I've got a stake in the games that will inevitably be on at my schools, cool!

I notice tonight that the Korean announcers have finally switched from announcing the strike count as strikes first then balls to American-standard balls & strikes.

Geez, Ian Chappell is still working at 70 years of age. Then again, he did play catcher in his youth.

Utter blasphemy. Baseball should not start until April and not go into November.
